PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project consisted of redesigning a former American burger restaurant to accommodate a Japanese style hibachi steakhouse. With thirteen hibachi grills placed within the 5000 sqft restaurant, the biggest challenge with this project was designing an exhaust system that could effectively clear the air in this large space with multiple grill stations. By working closely with engineers to coordinate the mechanical needs with the design, an exhaust system was designed that adequately meets the needs of the large amount of equipment in the restaurant. The interior decoration was completely transformed to provide an Asian inspired atmosphere to compliment the cuisine. Spaces were designed to provide a variety of dining experiences ranging from bar seating, to group dining to private dining rooms.
