Camp Birch

Located next to John Bryan State Park, this building serves as the Welcome Center for the Boy Scouts of America.  When registering, campers are undergo a transformation from city life to the rustic outdoors.  A visitor walks from a typical paved parking lot into a large assembly area with metal truss plates, light fixtures, and duct work that slowly fades into open timber trusses and wood trim to an exit that leads to a myriad of wilderness trails.   All features blend perfectly to create an incomparable experience.
