Field Residence

This bathroom renovation design creates a Tuscan style, warm, relaxing getaway for the owner.  Much attention was paid to the endless possibilities of floor and wall tile arrangements.  The radiant heated floor is finished with 1’x 2’ rectangles of coliseum marble that seamlessly turns to 1’x1’ tile of the same style for the wall.  Stone liners border a terracotta chair rail, which adds a splash of bright color to the wall.  4”x4” tumbled marble tile continues to the ceiling and provides a rustic, yet refined, texture throughout the bathroom.  A spacious shower with 2”x2” tumbled marble tiles pattern the floor and a glass enclosure sits next to the large jacuzzi tub.  The dark cherry wood furniture style vanity, shelving, and chest of drawers provide storage for the bathroom and incorporate the rich colors contrasting with the light pinks and beiges of the tile.  Beautiful finishes thoughtfully arranged make for a relaxing, modern retreat with pastoral charm.
