Scanlan Residence (Exterior)

A unique house set on an exceptional piece of land with owners of bold taste, this house received both an addition to the interior, as well as a renovation of the backyard.  The addition to the one story house included a spacious master bedroom, laundry room, large closets, exercise space, and private access to the backyard. Most importantly, however, the addition took into consideration and enhanced the view of the rolling countryside surrounding the house.  The backyard was then completely revamped to suite the owner’s lifestyle.  The main focus of the renovation was a large deck that provides space for grilling and eating, while wrapping around the organically shaped and tiered swimming pool with swim-up bar.  All in all, this interior and exterior renovation became both an extension and an expression of the owner’s personality and interests.
